The GCES mobile application represents a significant advancement in the digital transformation efforts of CCEs, providing a streamlined tool for primary workers engaged in field data collection. Designed with usability in mind, the app facilitates both online and offline operations, allowing registered users to efficiently conduct experiments and complete all three forms associated with their assigned plots.

Access is straightforward; users log in with their registered mobile number and OTP. Upon authentication, the interface displays only the villages and crops designated to each worker, ensuring focused and relevant data entry. The application ensures data security by linking collected information directly to the GCES Web Portal, enabling seamless management and review.

In offline mode, data is stored locally on the device and automatically synchronized with the central server once network connectivity is reestablished. The incorporation of geo-tagging provides accurate plot mapping, enhancing data reliability. Additionally, mandatory image uploads of plots and harvested crops support comprehensive documentation and validation of collected data.
